With a number of teams taking the day off on Saturday four other games were lost to wet conditions.

Glebe Rangers claimed a final spot in the O’Gorman Cup after beating Coagh United and will meet either Wakehurst or Dunloy who have still to play their semi-final.

In junior Division One Woodlands lost for only the second time in the league at Desertmartin allowing Cookstown Youth to narrow the gap at the top after the Youth beat Antrim Rovers.

In Junior Division Two Remo FC have moved into the top spot after their win over Cookstown RBL Res. This leads to a big game when the Remo entertain 3rd Ballyclare OB in their final game of the Season

Both teams played it very tight at the start of this game with few chances being created. Half-time was almost reached when Sofia went in front with Pedro Gomes scoring on the 40th minute. Ballynure got back on level terms after Marc Leckey scored on the 55th minute and this saw the game open up a bit. Ballynure went in front after Aaron Finn scored on the 68th minute and defended this lead until the final whistle. Sofia woes got worse when they had a man sent off on the 98th minute.   Referee Mr. Rowan Vernon

Coagh got an early set-back in this game when they had a defender sent off on the 6th minute for a professional foul on a Glebe player. From the resulting free kick Chad Dobbin scored putting Glebe a goal ahead and at half-time this goal still separated the teams. Glebe doubled their lead after Ian Christie scored on the 50th minute then a third goal scored by Richard Dunlop on the 60th minute put the game beyond Coagh.

                DESERTMARTIN SWIFTS              2              WOODLANDS                    1

This was a big win for the Martins but a bad loss for Woodlands it being only their second defeat in fifteen league games. The Martins went in front after Paul Gibson converted e penalty on the 15th minute and at half-time this goal separated the teams. Woodlands went for the equaliser in the second half getting this after Alex Haggan scored on the 70th minute. Both teams then went for the winning goal which went to the Martin when Robin Patton converted a second penalty for them on the 81st minute.   Referee Mr. Kenny Hayton


                COOKSTOWN OLYMPIC               3              RATHCOOLE FC               3

Rathcoole were early on the score sheet with Aaron Lindsay scoring on the 5th minute. Half-time was then almost reached when Matty Hughes scored the equaliser for the Olympic on the 42nd minute. Rathcoole went in front for a second time after Ross Watters scored on the 51st minute then went two goals clear after Aaron Lindsay scored his second goal on the 56th minute. The Olympic hit back with Matty Hughes scoring his second goal on the 70th minute. Time was then running down when Martin Meenan scored the equaliser with   a blistering free kick on teh 82nd minute.              Referee Mr. Noel Crossan


                MALLUSK ATHLETIC                      1              COOKSTOWN RBL          3

After a steady start by both teams RBL went in front after Aaron McPartland scored on the 17th minute then doubled their advantage after Mallusk conceded an own goal on the 27th minute. Half-time saw RBL still in front by two goals then on the 65th minute William Devine scored for Mallusk. Mallusk went all-out for an equaliser after this but could not get the decisive goal then with the game in the 90th minute James McPartland made it three one for RBL.                 Referee Mr. Charlie Pollock               


                COOKSTOWN YOUTH                    6              ANTRIM ROVERS             1

The Youth are making a strong bid for honours this season in the 1st Division and this win certainly helps them on their way. Kiefer Scott put the Youth ahead on the 23rd minute then a super free kick from Ryan O’Neil saw them two in front on the 30th minute. Jonny Rogers pulled goal back for the Rovers on the 37th minute then on the 45th minute James Leslie scored to restore the Youth two goal lead. The Youth had the better of the attacking play in the second half scoring three goals through Kiefer Scott on the 64th minute, Marl Larmour 84th minute and Kiefer Scott completing his hat-trick on the 90th minute.               Referee Mr. Samuel Forsythe

The 68th were quick off the mark when Tom Dougan scored on the 2nd minute then added a second when Ross McMahon scored on the 16th minute. 68th added a third goal when Declan Neil scored on the 31st minute then Paul Garvey gave Castle hope after he scored on the 37th minute. The second half saw Castle go looking for goals but 68th kept them at bay and sealed the win after Declan Neil scored his second goal on the 85th minute.

This win takes Remo to the top of the league table and no doubt they will be in the mix for honours at the end of Season. Remo created a few chances in the first-half but at half time had only a goal scored by Niall Stewart to show for their efforts. Remo extended their lead after James Brown scored a brace of goals early in the second half followed by three more goals scored by Eoin Bradley, Jason Bannon and Niall Stewart.

The first-half in this derby game was evenly divided but the second saw Red Star have the best of the attacking play. 1st Carrick went in front on the 34th minute after Stewart Pettinger scored but then saw Curtis Bell scored the equaliser for Red Star on the 37th minute leaving the teams level at half-time. Red Star went in front through a brace of goals scored by Glenn Heron on the 60th and 75th minutes then sealed the win after Curtis Bell scored from the penalty spot on the 78th minute. 1st Carrick had a chance narrow the gap from the penalty spot on the 86th minute but the Red Star keeper Darren Heron made an excellent save.               Referee Mr. Rodney Campbell
