After the week-end results the race for the Intermediate Title is certainly hotting up and with the all the teams in the top half of the table still to play each other once.

Bangor are setting the pace at present and though other teams have a number of games in hand the old saying of, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush couyld come true. With the time change and the introduction of mid-week games there will be a levelling up of games played by each team

COAGH UNITED 2 GLEBE RANGERS 4

This was a corker of a game between two good sides who matched each other until two goals in the last ten minutes swung the result in favour of Glebe. Coagh went in front after William Ferguson scored on the 16th minute then saw Davy Reid equalise for Glebe on the 22nd minute. Both teams had a couple of chances before Daniel McKinless scored on the 42nd minute putting Coagh back in front. Glebe got back level for a second time after Ian Christie scored on the 62nd minute and this scorleine remained for a time. The clock was beginning to run down when Ian Christie scored to put Glebe in front on the 83rd minute. DUNLOY       1 St JAMES SWIFTS 4

This was a big game for both teams with three very valuable points at stake in their quest to keep in the pace at the top of the league table. Both teams played it tight at the start then on the 22nd minute Declan McGarry scored putting Dunloy into the lead. Chances came and went for both teams after this until an own goal conceded by Dunloy saw the scores level on the 45th minute. Play continued to be tight between the teams until two spectatctular goals scored by Chris Black and Gary Darrian on the 70th and 73rd minutes saw St James go two goals ahead.
